Manchester United suffered two injury blows on Wednesday when Gary Neville and John O'Shea both hobbled off during their Premier League victory against Portsmouth.
Neville lasted just 13 minutes before he was forced off after a clash with Nadir Belhadj and his replacement O'Shea went off after 52 minutes.
Both were ruled out of Saturday's home match against Tottenham Hotspur, though manager Alex Ferguson said Wes Brown was expected to return from injury and could play.
United's 2-0 win put them three points clear of Liverpool with a game in hand.
