Pierce leads Boston to dramatic win

Paul Pierce collected 38 points, including the game-winning jumper with 23 seconds left, and 12 rebounds to give the Boston Celtics a 115-113 double overtime win over the Detroit Pistons on Friday.

Pierce also deflected Tayshaun Prince's last-second shot that could have sent the game into triple overtime, handing the Celtics their sixth victory in seven games.

Ricky Davis had 23 points as Boston inflicted a fourth straight road loss on the Pistons and their fourth defeat in five games overall.

Prince led Detroit with 27 points while Richard Hamilton added 24. Ben Wallace tied his season-high with 19 rebounds.

In Philadelphia, Allen Iverson had 25 points and 12 assists as the 76ers beat the Charlotte Bobcats 112-80.

Kyle Korver added 17 points for the Sixers and Chris Webber contributed 16 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Emeka Okafor led Charlotte with 17 points and eight rebounds.

In Indianapolis, Stephen Jackson scored 22 points to help the Indiana Pacers edge the Golden State Warriors 101-83.

Reggie Miller added 19 points for Indiana while Jeff Foster had 14 points and 17 rebounds.

Mike Dunleavy led the Warriors with 18 points.

In Toronto, Tyronn Lue notched 29 points as the Atlanta Hawks ended their 23-game road losing streak with a 116-112 overtime win over the Raptors.

Al Harrington added 28 points for the Hawks, who also ended a 13-game overall losing streak. Jalen Rose had 22 points for Toronto.

In Orlando, Kevin Garnett claimed 25 points, including the game-winning three-point shot, to guide the Minnesota Timberwolves past the Magic 101-96.

Garnett also had 18 rebounds while Troy Hudson and Latrell Sprewell chipped in 17 points apiece.

Hedo Turkoglu led Orlando with 32 points and Dwight Howard added 19 points and 19 rebounds.

In Milwaukee, Dirk Nowitzki registered 29 points and nine rebounds to carry the Dallas Mavericks to a 112-110 victory over the Bucks.

Jason Terry had a joint season-high 28 points for the Mavs and Michael Finley 19.

Michael Redd's 33 points paced the Milwaukee attack.

In Phoenix, Tracy McGrady recorded 38 points as the Houston Rockets beat the Suns 127-107.

Yao Ming added 27 points and a career-high 22 rebounds for the Rockets. Amare Stoudemire had 31 points and 10 rebounds for Phoenix.

In Salt Lake City, Mike Miller picked up 24 points to drive the Memphis Grizzlies to a 94-82 win over the Utah Jazz.

Andrei Kirilenko had 25 points and 13 rebounds for the Jazz.

In Sacramento, Mike Bibby hit a last-second jumper to give the Kings a 113-112 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Bibby had 28 points and 12 assists. Corey Maggette posted 26 points and 10 rebounds for the Clippers.

In Seattle, Ben Gordon claimed 22 points as the Chicago Bulls overcame the SuperSonics 100-97.

Rashard Lewis had 27 points for Seattle.
