Former French Open champion Carlos Moya has confirmed his participation for the Chennai Open in January, organisers said on Monday.
Twice winner in Chennai, the 43rd ranked Spaniard will join compatriot and world number two Rafael Nadal and Argentine world number eight David Nalbandian, who have already confirmed participation for the $400,000 ATP event from January 1-7.
Croatian Ivan Ljubicic won the singles title this year, defeating Moya in the final.
