Schumacher's manager rubbishes ‘irresponsible’ claims about F1 legend's recovery
Michael Schumacher's long-term manager has slammed claims about the Formula One legend's recovery, describing the reports as 'irresponsible' for providing 'false hope'.
Earlier in the week, a German magazine had claimed the seven-time world champion was walking again with the help of his therapist.
Almost two years after the skiing accident that left him with a serious brain injury, a German magazine claimed Schumacher had made a dramatic recovery.
However, Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm said that the assertion that Michael could move again was not true, adding that such speculation was irresponsible given the seriousness of his injuries.
Kehm added that such reports give false hopes to many involved people.
Schumacher, who has a record 91-race wins, has been going through his painfully slow recovery at his Swiss lakeside home after being injured while skiing during a French Alps vacation.
