Mariano Dias has signed for Churchill Brothers as head coach for the upcoming season in place of Carlos Pareira.
Club official Denzil Ferrao said, "Carlos Pareira did not sign a new contract, so we signed Mariano as our head coach and Subhash Bhowmick will continue to be the Technical Director."
After winning Santosh trophy for Goa in 2010, Dias had worked as senior technical director of the Youth Development Programme of Salgaocar Sports Club and was also handed an opportunity to be assistant to former Indian national team coach Savio Medeira.
Churchill has also roped in Lebanese international Bilal Sheikh El Najjarin in the Asian player's slot replacing Australian centre back Antun Kovacic.
"The Al Nejmeh captain is among the best defenders in his country and has been a regular with the national team for a long time," Denzil Ferrao said.
