Mahindra United, MSSA out of U-15 Premier Cup

Mahindra United were knocked out of the Nike-Manchester United Premier Cup (under-15) India-leg football finals after they went down to Sikkim FC 0-2 in their final Group 'A' match at the Duler ground, Mapuca, in Panaji on Tuesday.

Sikkim's Tilak Subba scored in the 19th minute before Bidhan Lepcha added the second in the 36th minute to show Mahindra United the door.

Earlier, Mahindra United were held 1-1 by Dempo SC in the day's opening match.

The other Mumbai team to exit from the competition was the Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA) who were thrashed by JCT 0-5 in their last Group 'A' tie.

Now, JCT and Shillong, from Group 'A' and Kalyani MSA and Sikkim FC from Group 'B' have advanced to the semi-finals scheduled to be played on Wednesday.
