Germany's Sabine Lisicki made up for lost time by crushing in-form Daniela Hantuchova in the delayed final of the Edgbaston championship on Monday.
The unseeded Lisicki won 6-3, 6-2 to claim the title at the Wimbledon warm-up event, which needed an extra day to complete after Sunday's torrential rain.
Lisicki raced into a 4-1 lead and fourth seed Hantuchova never really managed to get a foothold into the match.
Two more breaks followed in the second set as the German closed out the win to take her first title since 2009.
Lisicki has been awarded a wildcard into the main draw at Wimbledon.
