Olympian Virdhawal Khade on Saturday won a bronze in men's 50m freestyle to end his Asian Swimming Championships campaign in China with four medals.
He won silver (100m freestyle) and two bronze medals (50m freestyle and 50m butterfly) in his individual events and another bronze as the anchor of the 4X100m medley Indian relay team.
Khade also created a national record in the 50m butterfly with a time of 24.14sec. One the last day, Khade finished third in the 50m freestyle clocking 22.67sec.
Another Indian Sandeep Sejwal won three bronze in the championships. He won two bronze (100m breaststroke and 200m breaststroke) in his individual events and another one in 4X100m medley relay team.
