Indian Aces continued their dominance in IPTL 2 with a 25-18 win over Japan Warriors on the opening day of tournament's Dubai leg on Monday.
The mixed doubles pair of Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza defeated Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Kirsten Flipkens 6-4 to set the tone for the match.
The next two sets were way too one-sided for the Aces. Agnieszka Radwanska trounced Mirjana Lucic-Baroni 6-1 in the women's singles before Fabrice Santoro blanked Thomas Enqvist 6-0 in the legend's singles.
The men's doubles went into the tie-break with Bopanna and Ivan Dodig edging Herbert and Leander Paes 6-5 (7-2).
Warrior's won the lone set of the contest through Philipp Kohlschreiber, who beat Bernard Tomic 6-3.
The second match of the day will be between UAE Royals and Philippine Mavericks.
