Manchester United winger Nani has been ruled out for at least three games after being cut to the bone by Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher.
Carragher had caught the Portuguese international with a flying lunge in Liverpool's 3-1 win over United at Anfield.
The cut, pouring blood, saw the player being carried off in tears on a stretcher.
According to the Sun, Nani will miss Saturday's home FA Cup clash with Arsenal, the Champions League return against Marseille and a Premier League game against Bolton Wanderers.
The 24-year-old is currently expected to be fit to return against West Ham United on April 2.
