V Raghunath scored a goal in each as India began its Asia Champions Trophy hockey campaign with a dominating 4-0 victory over China, in Doha, on Thursday.
SV Sunil had put India ahead in the 13th minute and Ragunath doubled the lead seven minutes later.
India came back strongly in the second half, raiding the rival citadel quite often.
Raghunath made it 3-0 in the 52nd minute, scoring with a low flick.
Birendra Lakra completed the tally in the next minute when he deflected home a pass from Rupinder.
