India produced a clinical display to beat Nepal 3-1 to enter the final of the SAFF Women's Football Championship at the Kanchenjunga Stadium in Siliguri on Monday.

India, who led 1-0 at the interval, scored through Kamala Devi (45th minute), Indumathi (58th) and Sasmita Malik (83rd). For Nepal, Sabitra Bhandari scored the lone goal in the 75th minute from a penalty.

India coach Sajid Dar described the win as a "team effort".

"It is hard to single out any single player. Right from the goalkeeper to our defenders to the midfielders to the strikers, everyone played their part. It was a team effort," Dar said.
