Theodore Sunday scored off a free kick to help Mohammedan Sporting draw 1-1 with Air India at the Barasat Stadium in Kolkata on Monday.
Air India went into the lead in the 23rd minute as Surojit Roy put away a fine move initiated by Emmanuel Ovieghara from the centre line.
Mohammedan Sporting failed to make the most of their chances despite dominating the first half, but they stepped up the pace in the second half. Sunday's smooth finish off the free kick in the 59th minute saw the home team pull level.
