I sympathise with Tiger, says Becker

Former tennis champion Boris Becker says he sympathises with Tiger Woods, whose life is in turmoil after he admitted cheating on his wife.

Becker, 42, who fathered a child with a Russian model after a brief sexual encounter in a cupboard at a London restaurant while his wife was pregnant, said he could identify with the golf star.

"I experienced exactly the same and I can sympathise with him," the German newspaper Bild quoted Becker, winner of six grand slam titles, as telling a TV show to be aired later on Monday.

Becker, who had a messy divorce and became the butt of jokes for his flings, said he believed it would be "damned hard" for father-of-two Woods to save his marriage to Swede Elin Nordegren.

Woods, 33, has announced he is taking an indefinite break from golf to try to save his marriage.

Woods off to Bahamas

Scandal-hit Tiger Woods is reportedly off to Bahamas with his group of friends in his luxury yacht. According to sources, Woods along with some golfers buddies has left North Palm Beach in his 155-ft. luxury yacht Privacy.

"Tiger's boat Privacy has been docked at Old Port Cove in North Palm Beach for more than a week," People magazine quoted a source as saying.

"On Saturday morning, after stocking up on provisions from Costco on Northlake Blvd., the boat left town," the source added.

Another source revealed that Woods, 33, is going to cruise in the Bahamas for a few days after hanging around the Palm Beach Gardens area this past week.

However, none of the sources have seen Woods. Tight security has been guarding the Old Port Cove Marina for more than a week.

One eyewitness reported that a limo arrived at the marina on Friday, before the boat departed the next morning.
