Indian Arrows and Pune FC played out a dull goal-less draw in their Round 21 I-League match at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Gurgaon on Sunday.
The draw helped Pune FC bounce back from the loss they had in the earlier round and in the process hold on to the eighth position in the league standings with 23 points.
This was Pune FC's eighth overall draw and fifth in an away game.
Indian Arrows, who have lost just one home game so far, remained at ninth place with 23 points.
Playing in windy conditions, both teams opted to play cautiously from the word go. It was only until the 20th minute when there was a scoring chance but Pune FC failed to convert it.
Medio Shanmugam Venkatesh, working down the right crossed to striker Edmar Figuera who did well to had the ball on target. However, the Indian Arrows custodian Jagroop Singh pulled off an excellent save to keep the slate clean.
Indian Arrows also stitched some dangerous moves and on one occasion Jeje Lalpekhlua's header went just over the bar.
After the breather, Indian Arrows gave the Pune side some anxious moments but the visitors' defence stood ground.
