After successfully negotiating their demands with the administrators, the Indian hockey players returned to the World Cup preparatory camp and resumed practice after a six-day gap in Pune on Thursday.

All the 22 players along with the support staff were back to business early in the morning at the Balewadi Sports complex.

The players had boycotted the camp to protest against the delay in payment of their dues and incentives for their performance in 2009.

The unprecedented players' revolt began on January 8 and ended on Wenesday after the intervention of Indian Olympic Association (IOA).

The IOA President Suresh Kalmadi assured the players that all their demands will be put forward to the new set up in Hockey India apart from immediate release of 1 crore rupees, given by team sponsors Sahara Group.
