India's Shagun Choudhury fired a total of 83 (64+19) to clinch the silver medal in the women's individual trap event and the trap gold went to the hosts in the 2nd Asian Shooting Championship Patiala.
The trap event concluded at the New Moti Bagh Gun Club.
Kuwait shooter Alhawal Sarah won the gold medal after she scored 84 (61+23) while the bronze was won by Sirani Epideh of Iran who shot 78 (64+14).
Overall 17 shooters from different countries participated in this event.
In the team event, Choudhury (64), Varsha Tomer(59), Seema Tomer(54) scored a total of 177.
The silver medal was won by Iran's Sirani Epideh (64), Ranjbar Sari Nargis (55) and Amiri Behzadi Fatemeh (52) for a total of 171.
The bronze medal was won by Thailand's Srisongkram Janejira(58), Kitcharoen Chattaya (50) and Viravaidya Nanpapas (48) for a total of 156.
In the Maharaja Yadavinder Singh Memorial Indian Open Shotgun Championships, the gold medal was won by an Italian shooter who shot 68 and the silver was won by Choudhury (64). The bronze went to Iranian Sirani Epideh (64).
In the same tournament, the team gold was won by Iran's Sirani Epideh (64), Ranjbar Sari Nargis (55) and Amiri Behzadi Fatemeh (52).
The silver went to India's Varsha Tomar (59), Shikha Badhuria (55) and Seema Tomer(54).
