Poland's Formula One racer Robert Kubica has been released from a hospital in Italy to continue his rehabilitation from serious injuries sustained in a rallying accident in February.
According to the Daily Mail, Kubica has spent the past ten weeks at the Santa Corona Hospital in Pietra Ligure after sustaining arm and leg injuries in a crash on the Ronde di Andora rally.
The Pole was forced to undergo four surgical procedures after sustaining multiple fractures and a partially severed right hand in the crash on February 6.
After being taken off the critical list, Kubica underwent extensive rehabilitation and is now ready to begin a further programme under the supervision of Dr Riccardo Ceccarelli, who runs the Italian sports clinic ''Formula Medicine''
