A day after he knocked out the top seeds at the Wimbledon, there was a surprise in store for Indian tennis ace Rohan Bopanna.

Bopanna and his Romanian partner Florin Mergea, seeded ninth, beat the top seeded and legendary American twins Mike and Bob Bryan on Tuesday to storm into the men's doubles semi-finals at the All England Club.

And on Wednesday, he met three Manchester United players at Wimbledon.

The Indian doubles specialist posted a picture of the meeting on his Twitter handle (@rohanbopanna).

"Pleasant surprise meeting these guys here in Wimbledon. @juanmata8 @D_DeGea @AnderHerrera @ManUtd," he tweeted.

Last heard, Bopanna and Mergea were beaten by fourth seeds Julien Roger and Horin Tecau in the semi-finals on Thursday.

They lost 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, 4-6, 13-11.
