Fight of the Century: Mayweather talks money!

Ahead of the much-anticipated 'fight of the century' bout on Saturday, unbeaten US boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. has said that he and his rival Manny Pacquiao are not on a level-playing field financially, and that the latter should be earning more money for their mega-bout in Las Vegas.

Billed as the 'richest fight' in the boxing history, the fighters are reportedly sharing around 150 million pounds.However, Mayweather would take home significant amount of money than his Filipino opponent as the purse split is 60-40 in the former's favour.

Mayweather, who remains unbeaten in 47 professional fights, said that Pacquiao would have made 100 million dollars if he had worked with them, adding that the politician-turned-boxer has not been treated right for the fight financially.

Mayweather, the five-weight world champion, said that Saturday is just work for him and would just do what he does, but insisted that he would make upwards of $200 million for the fight.
