101-year-old Fauja to end career at London Marathon

A 101-year-old runner, who was born in India but moved to Britain in the 1960s, has revealed that this Sunday's London Marathon will be his final long distance race.

Fauja Singh has completed eight marathons since he took up the sport at the age of 89, the BBC reported.

Recently he finished the Toronto marathon in a time of eight hours, 25 minutes and 16 seconds.

His coach Harmandar Singh believes that he can go faster in the London race.
