World Champion Lewis Hamilton has poked fun at Sebastian Vettel's remarks that Mercedes' recent dominance has made Formula One ‘less exciting’, saying that the German's run of four years in Red Bull was more boring than his two years supremacy.

The 31-year-old said that it was fun to hear Vettel's comments, insisting that he would not bore his fans as much as the latter did.

Expressing his views on the same, Hamilton's team-mate Nico Rosberg lashed out at Vettel, saying that he was not aware of the hard work his team had put in to reach this level.

He further insisted Mercedes' critics to be a bit respectful towards their achievement.

Mercedes has remained dominant since 2014, winning 32 out of their 38 races.

With this, Vettel's winning streak also came to an end as Hamilton won the championship in 2014 and 2015.
