Arsenal's winger Samir Nasri has hinted that he may leave the club this summer and join rivals Manchester United.

The Frenchman is in the last year of his four-year deal with the Gunners. He has now been linked to a big money move to Manchester United or Manchester City, The Daily Mail reports.

Manchester City has reportedly intended to make a 20 million pound bid, while as Man United will be making their move on Nasri this week.

The 24-year-old winger is said to be asking Arsenal for a hefty pay hike to put him on a level with skipper Cesc Fabregas.

Nasri is not due to be back at training until Thursday but, after stalling on a contract offer from Arsenal that is worth 23.4 million pounds over five years, appears increasingly determined to leave this summer.

"Money has never been my motivation. I have always taken decisions from a football point of view. I don't want to sign for a club where I wouldn't be playing the football that I like, where I wouldn't feel happy, just for the money," Nasri was quoted as saying.

"We already earn huge wages. The priority is to make a big career and to win titles. This is more important than everything else. I know the value and the meaning of money," he added.

Arsenal is also facing a scare of captain Fabregas leaving the club and heading to Barcelona before the new season.
