Manchester United teenage striker Marcus Rashford is all set to sign a new lucrative long-term deal with the club.
It is reported that salary of the youngster will increase to 20,000 pounds a week. The contract is reportedly having a built-in appearance and performance clauses, which could see the teenage goal machine earning considerably more if he continues to play well in the matches.
The 18-year-old forward was handed over a difficult job at United this season after captain Wayne Rooney shifted him to a midfield role as he was not satisfied with his form.
Rashford, however, grabbed the opportunity with both hands and scored eight goals in 17 appearances in all competitions during his debut season for the club. With such a brilliant performance, he is being considered as a serious contender to make Roy Hodgson's 23-man squad for the European Championships in France next month.
With just 12 months remaining on his existing deal, United were keen to secure the services of their teenager to ward off any potential suitors in the post-season transfer window.
