Arsenal in loan deal for Real Madrid striker Morata?

December 03, 2013 18:26 IST

Arsenal are set to bolster their attack with reports suggesting that Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata is on his way to the Emirates.

Reports have emerged claiming that a deal has been agreed with Real Madrid for a six-month loan of the 21-year-old striker.

According to Spanish radio station Onda Cero there is an agreement between the two clubs that will see Morata leave the Santiago Bernabeu on a short-term basis.

Morata could provide a good partner to Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud upfront.

Morata has been restricted to 12 appearances for Real this season, but the majority of those have come from the bench and he has not started a match since the 2-0 victory over Malaga on October 19.
