India's top-ranked squash player Dipika Pallikal married her fiancé and long time beau, cricketer Dinesh Karthik, in a traditional Christian ceremony last week.
Same week, she had a traditional Telugu-Naidu style wedding.
The reason for the two weddings: the 23-year-old squash queen belongs to the Christian community and the 30-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman is Hindu.
For the Chennai wedding, Dipika wore a gorgeous floor-scraping Reem Acra gown. Her make up was by Rachel from Stylesmith.
For the traditional Telugu wedding, she wore a yellow and red elegant sari with a studded choli.
She rounded off her look with a tasteful maang tika.
