"Dhyanchand deserves Bharat Ratna. Such a sportsman has never been born in India. The award has been given to Sachin...it's okay. Nevertheless, they should think about Dhyanchand immediately," Milkha said.
Retired batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar became the first sportsperson to receive the country's highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna.
Milkha said Tendulkar could learn the tricks of administration if he becomes a Sports Minister.
"I have worked as the Director of Sports in Punjab. So, was I director from the beginning? These are the things which you learn (after assuming charge) - not to worry at all. If Sachin becomes Sports Minister, he will learn all about it (administration)," he said after reporters asked if a sportsman could make a good administrator.
