India face a tough challenge, as Ram Kumar Ramanathan has been drawn to play Spain's Rafael Nadal on the first day of their Davis Cup World Group play-off tie in New Delhi on Friday.
In the second singles on the opening day, Saketh Myneni will take on David Ferrer, according to a statement by the International Tennis Federation.
In the doubles rubber, India veteran Leander Paes will partner Saketh Myneni against the pair of Feliciano Lopez and Marc Lopez on Saturday.
In the reverse singles, on Day 3 of the tie, Myneni will play world No 5 Nadal while Ramanathan will meet Ferrer.
