An athlete from Wales participating in the Commonwealth Games has lodged a complaint with police claiming that she was harassed by unknown persons, police said on Thursday.
The Security Advisor of the team approached the police station in the Games Village on Wednesday and lodged the complaint.
"A case of harassment has been registered against unknown person after the complaint was made regarding the althlete's claim that someone took her photograph using a mobile phone," a senior police official said.
This is the first such complaint from an athlete participating in the Games.
