Three Ugandan officials, including their chef de mission, spent a night in hospital after an accident during a security check at the Delhi Commonwealth Games.
Wilson Tumwine and two aides were hospitalised on Tuesday after their vehicle hit a barrier at the entry to the Games Village around 2200 local time.
Tumwine and one of his aides needed stitches, but the three were released on Wednesday afternoon.
"I am shocked and surprised. But I am fine now," Tumwine said.
"I am going to raise the issue at the chef-de-commissions meeting tomorrow."
The Delhi Games endured a chaotic run up to the event where corruption, shoddy construction, health and security issues plagued organisers.
Organisers have provided no information about the incident.
