All India Football Federation General Secretary Alberto Colaco has been elected new general secretary of South Asian Football Federation for a four-year term.
Colaco, whose successor in the AIFF is set to be appointed this month, was elected at the SAFF Congress in Dhaka on Saturday replacing Sirajul Islam Bachchu of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Football Federation President Kazi Salahuddin was elected SAFF president, replacing All Nepal Football Association President Ganesh Thapa, while Saeed Shah
(Pakistan) and AFC Vice-President Manilal Fernando (Sri Lanka) were elected vice-presidents.
Ugyen Wangchuk of Bhutan will be the new SAFF treasurer.
