Indian boys win U-15 badminton title in Jakarta

Indian boys Chirag Shetty and Vaibhav Bhisne won the doubles under-15 title at the Yonex Sunrise badminton tournament in Jakarta, Indonesia, defeating the favoured host pairing of Dheva Anrimusthi and Rizky Adam 21-13, 23-21 in the final on Sunday.

Shetty and Bhisne are undergoing advanced training in Indonesia as part of a Maharashtra Badminton Association programme.

Shetty trains at the Goregaon Sports Club in suburban Mumbai and is coached by former international Uday Pawar.
