'Turbanator' Harbhajan Singh and Bollywood actress Geeta Basra, who were rumoured to be a pair for more than eight years, finally made it official.
They tied the knot in a Gurudwara in Jalandhar on October 29.
India’s star cricketer Suresh Raina wed Priyanka Chaudhary in a private ceremony, attended only by family members and close friends, at a posh hotel in New Delhi, on April 3.
The 28-year-old Raina and Priyanka, who is presently working in The Netherlands, are friends since childhood. Their families are closely associated for a long time. Priyanka's father was reportedly Raina's sports teacher in Ghaziabad.
India's top-ranked squash player Dipika Pallikal married her fiancee and long time beau, cricketer Dinesh Karthik, in a traditional Christian ceremony on August 19.
The couple, who were engaged in November 2013, took their marriage vows at a church in Chennai.
They also had a Telgu-Naidu Hindu wedding ceremony later on August 20.

After the likes of Karthik, Raina and Harbhajan tied the knot this year, it was the turn of Rohit Sharma.
The Mumbai batsman married to his long time girlfriend Ritika Sajdeh, in Mumbai, on December13.
The ceremony took place at a five-star hotel in suburban Bandra.
Rohit and Ritika were engaged earlier this year during the Indian Premier League season.
It was a private ceremony attended by close friends and relatives.
British tennis star Andy Murray married his fiancée Kim Sears in a traditional Scottish ceremony in a cathedral in Dunblane, Scotland, on April 12.
They had a spectacular Scottish wedding in April.
Hockey player Gurwinder Singh Chandi and sprinter Manjeet Kaur got married on March 30 in Jalandhar.
The couple hail from Jalandhar and have represented India at the Olympics.
Chandi made his international debut in 2008. The 25-year-old was also a member of the Indian hockey team that defeated Pakistan in the Asian Games as well as the team that won silver at the Commonwealth Games 2014.
His 33-year-old wife has a more illustrious career, having won gold at the 2006 and 2010 Asian Games. She was conferred the Arjuna award in 2005 for her contribution to Indian athletics.
Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell married Formula One racing team boss Christian Horner in Bedfordshire, England, on May 15.
Halliwell and Horner went public with their relationship in March 2014, and announced their engagement the following November.
TV presenter Christine Bleakley beamed from ear to ear as she finally got married to former England football captain Frank Lampard on December 21.
The newlyweds, who were together for six years, kept their fans guessing over when they would finally tie the knot after announcing their engagement four years ago, when Lampard popped the question in Los Angeles.
Christine looked stunning in her white lace wedding gown.
The couple began dating in October 2009 and their engagement was announced on June 15 2011.
