Mahesh Bhupathi and his American partner Liezel Huber have been given the top billing at the mixed doubles event of the French Open while Leander Paes and Cara Black are seeded second.
Huber was a winner in Paris last year along with compatriot Bob Bryan.
Bhupathi and Huber will take on Taipei's Yung-Jan Chan and American Eric Butorac in their opening match.
Paes and his Zimbabwean partner Cara Black will open their campaign against local pair of Pauline Parmentier and Marc Gicquel.
Last year, Paes and Black were ousted in the second round while Bhupathi and Sania Mirza had crashed out in the first round itself.
Sania is not playing this year at Roland Garros because of a recurring wrist injury.
