Rafa Benitez has agreed to coach Inter Milan after he was offered a three-year contract, worth up to 4.5 million pounds a season.
"Tomorrow we will say when Rafa Benítez will be presented. All we need is a counter-signature. In any case I think Benítez is not in Italy and will arrive here for the presentation," he said.
Benítez left Liverpool last week after the club's dismal performance in the Premier League last season, The Telegraph reports.
Benítez is expected to return to Liverpool to bring back with him the majority of his former backroom staff, including assistant Mauricio Pellegrino, fitness coach Paco de Miguel and goalkeeping specialist Xavi Valero.
Inter Milan is likely to give Benitez a transfer fund of up to 80 million pounds to strengthen his new squad.
