Mohun Bagan on Tuesday formally roped in Moroccan Karim Bencharifa as their new football coach for the coming season.
The club signed a one-year contract with Bencharifa, who coached Churchill Brothers to the second position in the I-league which concluded last month. The deal was inked in New Delhi.
A Bagan official said Bencharifa would take charge from June 1.
However, it was still not clear who would coach Bagan for their much-awaited match against Germany's Bayern Munich in the city on May 27.
