The Paris Masters win catapulted Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi to fifth from seventh in the latest ATP Team Rankings, issued on Monday.
The Indo-Pak Express outplayed French wild cards Julien Benneteau and Nicolas Mahut 6-2, 6-4 in the summit clash, on Sunday, in the Paris final.
They will now play in the season-ending finale in London from November 20.
In the individual rankings, Bopanna was back in top-10 as he gained six places while Qureshi was ninth just ahead of his Indian partner.
Bhupathi (7) and Paes (8) were unchanged.
