Alia, Neetu cheer for Ranbir's Mumbai City FC

Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor's Mumbai City FC, on Saturday. won the Indian Super League.

Ranbir, who is recovering from coronavirus, had his mother Neetu Kapoor present to cheer the players. 

Sharing a picture of herself with the winners and holding the trophy with them, Neetu wrote, '@mumbaicityfc champions of 2021'.

Ranbir's girlfriend Alia Bhatt also posted Instagram stories to congratulate Mumbai City FC.

While sharing Neetu's post on the win, Alia exclaimed, 'Woohooooo'. Her second Instagram story featured a post by the team's Instagram handle as the movie star wrote, 'Champions'.

This is the first time Mumbai City FC have won the ISL.

Mumbai City FC muscled their dominance in ISL 7 with an emphatic 2-1 win over ATK Mohun Bagan in the final at Goa's Fatorda Stadium.
