Jyoti Randhawa's fifth-place finish in the last week's BMW PGA Championship has helped him rise 16 rungs to 72nd in the official World Golf Rankings, issued on Monday.

The Delhi-pro has 1.873 average points and is the highest-ranked Indian in the list.

Meanwhile, Jeev Milkha Singh, who missed the cut in the event, dropped four places to 91 in the list and has 1.592 average points.

The next Indian in the list is Arjun Atwal way down at 185 after dropping three notches despite a steady tied 25th finish on the Nationwide Tour's Melwood Prince George's County Open last week.

Indian Masters champion SSP Chowrasia follows him at 186 with 0.941 average points.

Shiv Kapur, who also missed the weekend action in the European Tour's PGA Championship, found himself down 10 places at 266 with 0.647 average points.

At the top, Tiger Woods continues to hold the numero uno position for the 497th week but compatriot Phil Mickelson has cut his lead to 10.02 average points with his victory at the Crowne Plaza Invitational.
