A couple of back nine bogeys threatened to ruin his card but Jeev Milkha Singh managed to hang on to his tied fourth position with a penultimate round of level-par 70 in The Crowns golf tournament in Nagoya on Saturday.
After the second hole birdie was cancelled out by the bogey in the next hole, Jeev picked up a shot each on the 11th and 13th to go two-under before he bogeyed the 14th and 17th to eventually settle for an even-par card.
With his three-day total of five-under 205, Jeev lies three shot behind leader Ryoken Kawagishi (202), who carded 68 on Saturday, to open up a two-shot lead over Tomohiro Kondo (64) and Hiroyuki Fujita (68).
