Two more goals from irrepressible midfielder Cristiano Ronaldo helped Manchester United to a 3-1 home win over Tottenham Hotspur in their FA Cup fourth-round tie on Sunday.
Spurs, who reached the League Cup final in midweek, went ahead with a close-range Robbie Keane goal after 24 minutes but United deservedly equalised through Carlos Tevez in the 38th.
Both sides missed good chances in the second half before Michael Dawson handled the ball in the box, allowing Ronaldo to score from the spot in the 69th minute, with the defender earning a red card.
Ten-man Spurs then hit the post before Ronaldo scored his 25th goal of the season when his deflected low shot slid under the body of goalkeeper Radek Cerny two minutes from time.
