Spaniard David Ferrer has qualified for the season-ending Masters Cup featuring the world's top eight players on the men's circuit, organisers said on Sunday.
Ferrer becomes the sixth player to qualify for the Nov. 11-18 event in Shanghai after Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Nikolay Davydenko and Andy Roddick.
Several players, led by Chilean Fernando Gonzalez and German Tommy Haas, will be fighting for the two remaining spots at the Paris Masters Series tournament starting on Sunday.
