Syrian winger Mohammed Alzeno scored a goal and set up two more to power the tournament favourites to a 4-1 win over minnows Kyrgystan on Tuesday, sealing his country's second win in the five-nation Nehru Cup.
Forward Zyad Chaabo headed in a perfect rightwing cross from Alzeno to give Syria a 2-1 half-time lead, after Maher Al Sayed's seventh minute strike had been cancelled out by an own goal.

Alzeno added another after cutting in from the right and side-stepping a defender to score in the 70th minute.
A further effort by the winger rebounded off Kyrgystan keeper Valeri Kashuba and team mate Abrahiem Al-Hassan was on hand to tap in and leave the central Asian nation with a win and a loss to their name.
