Big Phil picks Henry over Ronaldinho
November 08, 2006 10:18 IST

Portugal and former Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari said on Tuesday he had left World Player of the Year Ronaldinho off his list for this year's vote.

Scolari told reporters he had voted instead for Frenchman Thierry Henry, whose goal knocked Brazil out of this year's World Cup in the quarter-finals,

followed by Brazil midfielder Kaka and England defender John Terry.

"I've voted three times for Ronaldinho and now I have chosen some other players," said Scolari, whose 2002 World Cup winning team included the Barcelona player.
