Former champion Anastasia Myskina of Russia blew India's Sania Mirza off the court in less than an hour in the first round of the French Open in Paris on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old tennis sensation, who returned to competitive tennis only two weeks earlier after recovering from wrist and lower-back injuries, lost 4-6, 1-6 to the 10th seeded Myskina.
Mirza has paired up with Janette Husarova of Slovakia for the doubles and the pair will face Catalina Castano of Colombia and C Martinez Granados of Spain in their first round.
Martina Hingis, who recently capped her comeback with the Italian Open title, breezed past America's Lisa Raymond 6-2, 6-2 to keep her French Open hopes alive.
The five-time Grand Slam Champion is yet to win the title in Paris
