The All India Football Federation has completed arrangements for conducting dope tests during the 10th ONGC Cup National Football League, beginning on Tuesday.
"Random dope tests will be conducted. Though for obvious reasons we cannot tell you the matches when we will conduct the tests and the number of players who would be tested," All
India Football Federation vice-president Subrata Dutta told newspersons in Kolkata on Monday.
Dutta said the urine samples would be sent to a laboratory in Malaysia, with the AIFF medical cell selecting the matches and players and supervising the collection process.
Asked whether the AIFF is prepared to conduct the tests on the inaugural day if the cell so desires, he replied, "Yes, of course."
