Wild card entrant Karan Rastogi failed to qualify for the main draw in the 750,000-euro ABN AMRO World tennis tournament after a straight-set loss to Alex Calatrava of Spain in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Rastogi went down 1-6, 4-6 to the Spaniard in a qualifying match.
Rastogi was given a qualifying draw wild card to the event after winning ABN Amro Challenge in New Delhi in November.
