Referee Michel in charge of Confederations final

Lubos Michel of Slovakia will referee next Wednesday's Confederations Cup final in Frankfurt, FIFA announced on Friday.

Michel, 37, officiated at the Brazil v Greece match and the match between Argentina and Germany earlier in the competition.

Carlos Chandia of Chile will referee Saturday's semi-final between Germany and Brazil in Nuremberg.

Italian Roberto Rosetti, who was in control of the opening day match between Argentina and Tunisia and also ordered a penalty to be taken three times during the group match between Mexico and Brazil, will be in charge of the other semi between Mexico and Argentina in Hanover on Sunday.

Matthew Breeze of Australia will referee Wednesday's third-fourth place playoff between the losing semi-finalists in Leipzig.
