Sania Mirza and partner Anna Chakvetadze of Russia drew relatively easier opponents in the first round of women's doubles in the Wimbeldon tennis championships, beginning in London on Monday.
The duo will take on Alina Jidkova of Russia and Tatiana Perebiynis of Ukraine.
Sania, who played alongside world no. 43 Anna in the French Open and reached the second round, will be hoping for a better show at the All-England grass court event, where she won the junior doubles title in 2003.
In the women's singles, Sania, ranked world No. 72, will take on Japan's Akiko Morigami in the first round.
