Shikha Uberoi reached the second round of the women's singles qualifying at the Wimbledon tennis championships in London on Tuesday.
The American of Indian origin, who played for India in the Fed Cup, defeated Natalie Grandin of South Africa 6-3, 6-2 in the first round.
Uberoi will meet the winner of the match between Maret Ani of Estonia and Viktoria Kutuzova of Ukraine.
